The mechanism of action for Tenacissoside F is not well understood, but it does not appear to bind specifically to DNA or RNA, making it unlikely that the drug acts as a chemotherapeutic agent by inhibiting cell division. This natural product may act as a chemotherapy drug by inducing apoptosis in tumor cells.
